Hi, I am Dr_Al_, the original author of Lands of Death.
I would appreciate it if you updated the description of this game to include "This is a revival of the original batch game Lands of Death by Dr_Al_". If you want to call it a Remake or a Remaster instead, that's fine.
I can see you've credited me in the Read Me, but I would like to be credited on the main page as a co-author.
If you would like to reach out to me, I am on discord @Dr_Al_ or you can email me ThisIsDoctorAl@gmail.com
Hello! I know you've posted this over a year ago, but it's a better late than never reply XD
I was a really huge fan of your simple batch game, it's what got me to learn programming languages, this small batch game was made when I was about 12 years old, so dumb little me wouldn't know a thing or two about properly crediting people!
The game wasn't even near completion in my run-through, and it had a lot of bugs...
When I manage to retrieve old files, I will most likely revise and recreate the game in Python because it is WAY better and easier to program with, sometime in the future, and I will make sure I'll properly credit you this time.
I'm wondering if you're still here, never expected you, the one who conceptualized the idea to comment!
You can eat infinite food, the food number will just go negative
If you explore the wastelands and if you ran out of energy and try to walk its says a message and when you click enter its go to your dashboard but if you click on the Stats button and then go back your expedition to the wastelands continues
i personally use mac and plan to add linux as second machine, so i'd welcome a browser version if porting this curious-looking game is a hassle for you. couldn't run the .bat file with the Wine Crossover for mac i sometimes use for windows indie games
